Little Things For Little Budgets

Without moaning, my lack of 'real' job means my shopping budget has been greatly reduced of late. Rocketing London rent, the hire of my Boris bike, and the occasional treat on the tube, means that trips to Topshop, and Urban Outfitters have been more often than not, of the window shopping variety. I have encyclopedic knowledge of what is currently on the High Street, but none of the proof. That said, I don't like to live a completely sacrificed life, and so have made a few tiny purchases that have actually made quite an impact on my wardrobe.

A £5.99 five pack of coloured socks from H&M is not the most extravagant of purchases but necessary and style enhancing they are indeed. Due to me not packing my camera cable, pictures will need to follow, but instead you can mull over some of my favourite sock wearers - obviously the reason I saw such potential in such a small purchase.

Also from H&M, I picked up this coming-in-very-handy jumper. Not only can it be thrown over floral dresses, but I looks great tucked into a chino or skinny pant. Only thing is that I cut all the labels off, and have no idea other than to hand wash it. Oh and it stretches very easily. But, hay, for £29.99, who's complaining?

Thinking tomorrow will involve perusing the Urban Outfitter's sale at some point. Share my finds then. Excitement!
