Things I Could Have Bought Today But Didn't

Being a job searcher, it has come to my attention that of recent I haven't really been feeling shopping. In my mounting spare time I often peruse Oxford Street, Brick Lane, and Spitalfields, desperately searching to fill my wardrobe void, but with lacking reason to wear things, my enthusiasm is weaning.

My new favourite saying ("when I get a real job) has overlapped into my fashion love, and I need to eradicate it now. It is annoying me that the only time I ever tend to buy anything new is when I have an interview, or when it is edible. Yes - I am also fat.

Anyway while shopping today for something that came with job, my constant indecision seen me walk up Reagents Street at least three times, and mull over the possibilities of things I could have bought, but weren't really first impression worthy.

Almost picked this up from Urban Outfitters, but the fact the only part of my body on show would have been tattoo'd, I felt inappropriate.

Haze Slash Dress, Something Else by Natalie Wood, £50, Urban Outfitters sale.

Loved it, but my hips were in the way a bit. Long Accordion Pleat Skirt, £51, American Apparel.

This keeps taunting me in the Buy It Now or Regret It Later section. Suede Fringed Cape, £195, Topshop.

Love this a lot, but slightly impractical for swanning around the flat. Orange Dip Dye Maxi Hem Dress, Topshop, £70.
