Favourite's

This week so far has been something of a late starter. It's always the way; you fail to do anything when you have nothing to do, and are eager to do things when things like work start to come up. My weekend plans are to be in my unflattering cinema uniform, forgoing my top knot in order to fit my cap on, and not much else except to fit in some film watching.

So far I have enjoyed making - and, of course, eating - a flourless chocolate cake courtesy of Nigella, spending time at home with my doggy, Pepper, and reveling in the fact that I managed to drive around a completely deserted car park without crashing. Driving suits me according to Mum. Oh la la, will my latest accessory be a car?!

Right this second - as I type away - I am hastily gulping a free cup of tea from Starbucks after cleverly confusing the worker so much that she forgot to take the money from my reward card. Go me (completely non-intentional)! And as the night grows longer, and the weekend approaches, I am easing my pain of work with thoughts of Blue Valentine and Black Swan; two films which have inflicted rare can't-wait-to-see-this-film feelings on my mind. Let's just hope that selling the tickets doesn't suck out the longing to buy them.
